As an Investment Manager in the Equities Department, you will strengthen our Thematic Equities team in Geneva focusing on the environmental space.
 


Your role



  • Generating long-term thematic investment ideas based on bottom-up, fundamental research and analysis in the environmental sector.

  • Contributing to portfolio construction and implementation.

  • Working closely with other investment managers in the Thematic Equities team and in the broader equity franchise.

  • Working closely with our client portfolio managers and sales teams to support our client and consultant relationships. 

  • Helping develop our thought leadership in environmental investing.
     


Your profile



  • Three to five years’ professional experience in financial markets, specifically in equities investment-related positions (buy-side or sell-side) ideally in environmental sector.

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or in Sciences/Engineering. Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA would be a plus.

  • Strong commitment to fundamental, bottom-up analysis with a long-term focus.

  • Passion for and curiosity about environmental sustainability.

  • Familiarity with ESG concepts and experience in integrating ESG factors in investment analysis.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good Excel skills and working knowledge of Bloomberg.

  • Fluent in English; fluency in another major language would be a plus.

  • Able to work autonomously as well as being an independent thinker with a clear focus on maximising the team's success with a positive and collaborative attitude.

  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
