ROLE DESCRIPTION

• As Operations Administrator with our Ocean department, you will support the Director of Operations and Development and the team in ensuring the highest standard in data governance, systems management, process optimisation and quality control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage data across all our suite of office and on-board systems; Including Cruise Director (Core) for data across our digital end points (TV, signage, App and Web sites etc.), our Enterprise PMS modules such as: menu management, Point of Sale management, hotel maintenance management, safety management, Human Resources (HR) & Learning and Development etc.

• Data Governance: To ensure that all data is known and managed correctly. To manage the data efficiently in line with business needs and ensure that the data is being transferred to the correct end point where it is to be needed.

• Quality and control: Ensure that there are no gaps in the data entered to give integrity throughout our systems.

• Design and deploy consistent Data Management processes and controls across systems to ensure data quality and data integrity.

• Support business teams on data quality monitoring and cleansing and the development of new processes to optimize the operation.

• Assist in evaluating, configuring, and managing privacy compliance technology, as well as capturing, maintaining, and analyzing compliance data.

• Analyse and resolve queries related to data used in the Enterprise Property Management System (PMS) for guests and employee management.

• Take ownership of administrative tasks related to the hotel operation and management, including new data entry, maintenance of existing data and de-activation of old unused data.

• Liaise with multiple departments including Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, Procurement, HR, Finance and Marketing to ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance, both in the context of internal and external platforms.

• Answer inquiries from both on board and shoreside departments, escalate unresolved issues via the IT ticketing system and liaise with relevant teams to ensure positive resolution.

• Launch and lead delivery of Data Quality assessment initiatives with Business to support strategic data projects.

• Support ongoing projects and participating in meetings and discussions with the different stakeholders involved.

• Please note that this position involves travel to our ships as and when required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

• You bring demonstrated organizational skills and experience working with project with a high degree of attention to detail.

• Ability to provide creative solutions for complex projects requiring attention to detail.

• You have a pro-active personality and like to work in a multi-cultural environment.

• You have solid computer skills, especially in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Full passport and full, clean driver's license.

EDUCATION

• A bachelor's or master's degree with a focus on analytics or related field

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Curious and adventurous with a keen interest in travel and a passion for discovery.

• Previous experience in content creation is a plus.

• Experience in the hospitality industry or with Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sales (POS) systems and procurement systems is a bonus, but not mandatory. But you must be keen to learn.

• Sense of humor.
