Internship: AI-Powered Travel Companion: Guiding Your Adventures with TCS

Touring Club Schweiz (TCS) is Switzerland's leading mobility organization dedicated to ensuring that its members have a safe and pleasant travel experience. Your challenges during the Internship

In this 6-months internship, you will work on a project to provide an AI travel assistant that can, from the base of points of interests, from the road/trail/train network and the visitor preferences can propose an itinerary with all the different places to visit with pictures and an approximate schedule.

The idea is to use all the new capabilities of generative AI in conjunction with our knowledge base to be able to provide answer to question like “I would like to have a 4 day itinerary from Lausanne with my family and I’m using public transportation and bike rental”.

• Gather and analyze data at disposal in TCS and identify external data sources
• Develop a solution based on generative AI engine
• Collaborate with the department in TCS in charge of the https://tcs-roadtravel.ch/ website
• Enhance the platform based on user feedback and safety updates
• Potentially develop a user-friendly interface for mobile users
• Test the tool and gather user feedback for improvements
• Create a user Application as your MVP

This will help you get started

• You should be interested in travel and be service-minded oriented
• You should have knowledge in generative AI engine
• Software engineering and programming (especially mobile development
• Interest AI and Data Science in General
• Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of German and/or French advantageous
