As a Research Assistant Cellular Metabolism you will take part in the discovery and development of natural bioactives that benefit healthy aging and help patients to manage metabolic diseases.

Key responsibilities
  • Contribute to the progress of scientific projects through experimental planning, setting up of protocols and through the timely and rigorous execution of molecular and biochemical experiments
  • Develop related tools and competencies in the domain of activity
  • Build and document knowledge and share about latest methods, trends and developments in relevant field of activity
  • Support knowledge transfer to business units through interpretation and communication of data
  • Actively participate to team meetings and share opinions on interpretation of new results and the feasibility of experimental strategies
  • Coordinate laboratory maintenance tasks and experimental strategies with other lab members

Required Profile
  • Bachelor or Master in Life Sciences or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in academic research or industry R&D
  • Experience in planning and execution of molecular and biochemical assays
  • Master routine molecular and cellular techniques, such as molecular cloning, western blots, biochemical assays and microscopy

  • Experience with mitochondrial function assays and/or preclinical models is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, French is an asset
