Facilty Technician
The role is a full-time and permanent position. This role is based in Eysins, Switzerland.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manufacturing Department and site you will be part of the team to maintain the site services in a continual state of operational readiness. You will follow, update, and create procedures/SOP to maintain all facility equipment running, to produce MosaiQ™ microarrays.
The technical scope of the role will cover all services on the site accordingly to GMP roles; -HVAC, compressed air, steam, hot water, purified water, electrical supply, drains, lifts etc. It is anticipated that the job holder will have the skills to fault find and complete general maintenance tasks.
As facility expert, you will assume support responsibilities over night and at weekends as required.
The main responsibilities include:
- Monitor the safe operation control and maintenance of facility equipment in accordance with established procedures to minimize delays to work programs and ensure a safe working environment.
- Establish, Pilot and Monitor Maintenance & Calibration indicators.
- Provide immediate support for any breakdown in the siteservices.
- Maintain, calibrate and repair all Facility equipment in accordance with agreed procedures, ensuring equipment is operating correctly per qualified process as well as maintain excellent levels of cleanliness andhousekeeping.
- Establish and maintain accurate and legible records to ensure relevant laboratory documentation is kept in a satisfactory condition.
- Check, control and maintain work environments according to the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and relevant Health and Safety policies contributing to the maintenance of agreed standards.
- Establish and Manage Optimized Preventive Maintenance Plans
- Be an expert in the use of the Quality documentation system for assets, change controls and document creation related to facility equipment.
- Train Quotient staff in the field of specialty
- Be the main contact for the on-call team members and coordinate it
- Drive and actively participate in the review / update of procedures, and any other relevant documents.
- Undertake and participate in continuous training and assessment, in accordance with personal development plan.
- Complete, review and updated the relevant Health and safety risk assessments for the equipment under yourresponsibility.
- Define and follow projects as required to ensure continuous improvement/development of products and processes in the field of specialty.
- Support for projects out of field of specialty in accordance with line manager.
- Raise non-conformances and change controls as required for your areas ofresponsibility.
- Support validation team in the field of specialty, by creating validation plans, execution and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant professional experience in maintaining and operating an industrial scale building HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system, ideally in a GMP & GDP environment
- Working understanding of plant functions and maintenance.
- Demonstrate expertise in fault finding and problem solving.
- Communicate well and openly and appreciate working in an environment with diverse people.
- Ability to plan and carry out your work independently within your area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate a solution-oriented and pragmatic approach to solving problems that may arise in the day-to-day business.

- Fluent in French and outstanding written and oral English language skills are required
- Willingness to work sporadically outside normal working hours my be required from time to time
