In this challenging role you will be the Finance business/sparring partner for different senior stakeholders within the organisation, supporting them on any queries related to financials, analyses and business case preparations. You'll have a close eye on costs, are involved in the budgeting and forecasting process among other tasks.

ASAP: Manager FP&A / Finance BP - Bridging Project (m/w)

Our client is a globally reknown and well established player in the FMCG industry with offices in Zürich. We are looking for a strong FP&A/Finance Professional to immediately support the Finance team for a bridging project of 5-7 months.

Description

  • Sparring partner for the different BUs in terms of financials, analytical support, business case preparation and ROI calculation
  • Provide financial guidance on the innovation funnel to focus on projects which are really value-creating
  • Challenge numbers in KPI scorecards and monthly costs reports, provide highlights to Senior Management
  • Coordinate budget and forecast preparation
  • Support the preparation of presentation to the Group Executive Committee
  • Continuously improve, design and implement reports / KPIs to measure in a more effective way for the respective business areas
  • Continuously identify ways to optimise costs, financial structures, reporting, analysis etc. and implement these

Profile

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration (or similar)
  • 7+ years in Finance, especially in FP&A
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to design and implement new analytical tools and reports, manage complexity and come up with clear, practical and meaningful recommendations to Business Leaders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; SAP/ BW knowledge is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to connect with various levels of hierarchy, from Technical staff to Global Leaders
  • Independent - capable of thinking out-of-the box, ability to push new ideas through the organization under limited guidance, self-starter.
  • Willingness to have an impact on the business and organization through analysis and recommendations
