As the current position holder is retiring, we are looking for you as a committed successor for this position.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the cases of the assigned inmates.
- You advise and support inmates and their environment in personal and administrative matters (areas: housing, work, finances, law, health, life design). The focus is on reducing recidivism and social integration.
- You apply the instruments of risk-oriented sanction enforcement (ROS) specifically for offense-oriented work.
- You create enforcement plans in cooperation with the inmates.
- You participate in the preparation of enforcement reports and formulate recommendations for further enforcement.
- You inform inmates about legal questions (Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Code, Code of Obligations).
- You process and coordinate leave requests.
- You maintain close interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination with authorities and specialist offices.
Your profile
- Completed education in social work (Bachelor)
- Several years of professional experience (preferably with people in detention)
- Understanding and experience in dealing with people from other cultures and persons in difficult life situations
- Experience in handling sensitive situations and willingness to take responsibility
- Open attitude towards new things
- Resilient personality with a high quality awareness
- Good MS Office user skills
- Confident German language skills, spoken and written
- Foreign language skills (conversational)
