The city of Rorschach and the municipality of Rorschacherberg jointly operate the Youth Family School Office. This includes school social work, counseling for families, children and youth, as well as open youth work.

In the youth work of Rorschacherberg and Rorschach, a pre-internship or part-time position is newly to be filled. The youth center Block94 is a low-threshold offer of the two municipalities. The center provides a space where young people from upper secondary school onwards can meet and find a music and game offer tailored to their needs. A separate meeting offer exists for children in 5th and 6th grades (Block94-Kids). The centers form a protective framework in which young people can implement participatory projects and practice social learning.

• Contact person for children and young people
• Collaboration, supervision and initiation of activities in the youth center Block94 as well as in the kids' center during opening hours
• Management of the youth center (inventory, bar, games, etc.)
• Collaboration in the planning, implementation and evaluation of participatory projects to promote the social and self-competence of young people
• Collaboration in projects and prevention work inside and outside the center
• Public relations and networking work, also via social media
• Administrative and organizational tasks of youth work and the office

• Student of social work, social pedagogy or socio-cultural animation or desire to start studying as well as applications from related professional fields
• Joy and understanding in dealing with children and young people
• Experience in dealing with children and young people is an advantage
• Social skills and ability to set boundaries
• Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends (working days: Wednesday to Saturday)
• High self-responsibility as well as team and mediation skills
