RNI Laboratory Manager

Axians is an organization accredited according to ISO 17025, specialized in measuring non-ionizing radiation (NIR) from mobile telephony installations ("NIR laboratory"). The organization ensures that the limit values prescribed by law under the NIR Ordinance (ORNI) are respected.

We would like to welcome you to one of our Business Units, starting now or by agreement. You will lead our well-established NIS laboratory team and at the same time indulge your technical passion and actively collaborate within this team. Together with them, you will ensure the smooth operation and development of our laboratory.

The workload varies between 80% and 100%. Your workplace can be located in Ittigen, Zurich, Lausanne, or Müllheim TG.

• Management and development of the accredited measurement laboratory (ISO 17025) for NIR measurements
• Technical, personnel, and commercial management
• Interface with clients (mobile network operators) and authorities (specialized NIR services of the cantons, certification bodies)
• Ensuring the quality of measurements performed and protocols
• Support for measurement technicians in case of problems during measurements

You are interested and passionate about technology. You are able to inspire the team and deliver clear and convincing results independently. Your working method is characterized by high quality and cost awareness. Openness, helpfulness, and clear communication are for you self-evident and enrich every collaboration.

• Completed professional training in communication technology (HES) or several years of professional experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of mobile telephony technologies (3G, 4G, and 5G), high-frequency measurement technology
• Strong customer orientation
• Very good knowledge of German and French, both spoken and written, completes your profile
