Your future area of responsibility

• PLC programming according to DIN IEC 61131-3, functional testing, commissioning, and machine acceptance together with the customer at our Mannheim site, including parameterization of intelligent actuators and sensors as well as electronic subsystems
• Creation of functional and process descriptions for the machines as well as associated documentation
• Remote support for software adjustments and troubleshooting for our service, occasionally also on-site assignments at our customers
• Support in the ongoing standardization and harmonization of our PLC systematics

Your profile

• You have a successful degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, or mechatronics, solid PLC programming knowledge, especially B&R controls, as well as extensive commissioning experience
• You currently work with Siemens controls (TIA Portal) and B&R controls (Automation Studio). Knowledge of the programming languages Visual Basic and C is an ideal addition but not a must. Good English skills are required
• Your personal strengths include a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as team spirit
