Head of Quality Management & Assurance (all genders)

About the job

We are looking for a new team member to take on this responsible role with an international focus and great scope for design. You actively drive our quality standards forward, sustainably improve supplier and customer processes, and maintain an overview even in complex, global projects.

YOUR MISSION

• Leadership, development, and management of the team for quality management and quality assurance (Engineering and Online Business)
• Overall responsibility for all quality-relevant activities in the OEM and online channels, including international coordination for uniform standards
• Further development of the quality strategy as well as establishment of a "First Time Right" and continuous improvement culture. This includes error analyses (root cause), process optimizations, and derivation of concrete measures
• Planning, execution, and follow-up of supplier and customer audits as well as the further development of our suppliers on site
• Responsibility for initial sampling, ISIR/PPAP, series release, as well as conducting APQRs and quality reviews

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree in quality management, engineering, or a comparable field
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in international, multicultural, and virtual environments
• 8+ years of professional experience in quality management, including root cause analysis, audits (internal/external), and product validation (ISIR, PPAP). Solid knowledge of QMS and ERP systems
• Certified Internal/Lead Auditor ISO 9001 (mandatory), ISO 14001 is a plus. Confident handling of methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel 10–20% (e.g., to our European production sites or international suppliers) and work in a hybrid model (about 60% on-site in Embrach, Tuesday to Thursday)
