The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique comprehensive care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. In addition to the inpatient service offering, we operate a mobile home doctor practice that currently provides medical care to nursing home residents in 18 external senior and nursing homes in the Basel area and is continuously being expanded.
Our qualified specialists conduct structured consultations as well as regular rounds directly in the respective senior and nursing centers. This ensures continuous, coordinated, and high-quality medical care – where our elderly patients live.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed medical professional by arrangement who enjoys outpatient geriatric medicine and cares for our patients in the home or domestic environment.

Your Tasks
- You take over the outpatient medical care of a fixed patient base in the Adullam care centers in Basel and Riehen as well as in external senior and nursing homes in the Basel area
- You work independently and responsibly from Monday to Friday
- (no emergency, night, or weekend duties)
- You maintain close professional exchange with the medical management of the mobile home doctor practice
- Your working days and routes can be flexibly arranged
- You actively contribute to the further expansion and conceptual development of the mobile home doctor practice
- Collegial exchange with the doctors of the Adullam hospital is an integral part of your activity
- You maintain close interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, activation, and social services
Your Profile
- You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine (FMH)
- You have an interest in specializing in geriatrics
- (Geriatrics = medical care of elderly people with multiple illnesses, functional limitations, and complex treatment needs)
- Ideally, you have initial experience in outpatient medicine
- You are a responsible, committed personality who enjoys working with elderly people
- You are willing to apply for a professional practice permit (BAB) with OKP approval
