Educator with the Youth & Health Committee of the DFME
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division (DISA) of the Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) is looking for an educator, at a 10% activity rate, under a fixed-term contract from January 1 to December 31, 2026, to co-coordinate the Youth & Health Committee (CJS) in tandem with a physician.
The starting date is scheduled for January 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, medical research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services, with more than 1,500 professionals. The department provides care for women throughout their lives and supports children from birth to adolescence.
The Interdisciplinary Adolescent Health Division (DISA) is a specialized consultation dedicated to young people aged 12 to 20. It addresses various topics: overall health, sexual health, eating disorders, etc.
The Youth & Health Committee (CJS) brings together young people aged 10 to 25 and aims to improve the care offer for adolescents and young adults, as well as contribute to research and teaching in the field of youth health.
Mission
In co-responsibility with a DISA physician:
- You supervise the members of the Youth & Health Committee (recruitment, session facilitation, group dynamics)
- You manage the projects entrusted to the CJS, from planning to evaluation
- You promote youth representation in the fields of care, research, and education
- You handle the administrative and budgetary management of the CJS's resources and means.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 3 years of experience working with adolescents
- You possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- You benefit from continuing education related to adolescence (an asset)
- You have experience in group facilitation (an asset)
- You have skills in project management and interdisciplinary work
- You are autonomous, proactive, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
Depending on the profile, the salary class will be level 8 or 9.
