Your Tasks
The advertised position is located in the printing workshops (relief/gravure/planographic and screen printing).
- Responsibility for a professional workshop operation
- Responsibility for workshop and machine park introductions for students and workshop users
- Support and advice for students and lecturers in teaching projects as well as in module and bachelor theses
- Maintenance and servicing of the machine park, tools, facilities, and equipment of the workshop
- Responsibility for compliance with regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Further development of the workshops in the 2D network
- Budget responsibility, coordination of goods purchasing, inventory
Your Profile
- Vocational training in the printing sector (relief/gravure/planographic, screen printing or others), artistic-creative training in the graphic field (Bachelor) or comparable knowledge
- Experience with own activities in the artistic and/or design field
- Technical machine know-how
- Experience in combining traditional, manual and digital manufacturing
- Professional knowledge of prepress programs (Adobe programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Interest in experimenting with different materials and machines
- Interest in new things as well as joy in working with creative, innovative, and artistic people
- Interest in teaching and methodological questions
- Committed, patient, responsible, socially competent personality
