The Social Insurance Court of the Canton of Zurich is one of the three highest cantonal courts and is responsible for handling complaints and lawsuits in the field of social insurance. We are a medium-sized institution with 15 judges and 80 employees in the legal and administrative areas. Approximately 2000 court cases are processed annually.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement
for our administrative secretariat (office and reception) a team-oriented, committed, reliable person
Commercial Employee EFZ (70% - 100%)
Your main tasks include:
As an employee of the administrative secretariat, you are jointly responsible in a multi-person team for a smooth and flawless process of all office-related business of the court operations. Your main area of responsibility in the office includes the administrative management of cases from their receipt to archiving. In particular:
- Incoming mail with triage and case registration of submissions as well as recording of newly received
cases in various legal areas
- Drafting of orders, decisions, and judgments
- Internal counter service as well as answering telephone inquiries
- Deadline monitoring
- Appointment and pending matter management
- Organizational preparations for hearings
- Processing appeals to the Federal Court
- Mail dispatch
Additionally, occasional daily shifts at the reception take place. Your tasks there include:
- Counter service at the reception
- Operation of the main telephone
- Internal messenger service
- Supervision of the cafeteria
We expect:
- Commercial basic training
- Several years of work experience, preferably at a court or in public administration
- Precise, efficient, service-oriented, and careful working style
- High flexibility, resilience, and independence
- Very good written and spoken knowledge of the German language
- Good IT user skills (including MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Enjoyment and interest in increasingly digital work in the future
