Media Designer DTP & Production 80-100%

To strengthen our team, we are looking ASAP for an experiencedMedia Designer DTP & Production with a workload of 80% or 100%.

You are responsible for the organization, creation/implementation, and monitoring of all production processes from planning to delivery. The role includes both operational DTP work, graphic design as well as ensuring quality and efficiency, resource planning, and continuous process optimization, often involving digital technologies. Point of contact for production-related questions internally as well as with external partners.
Furthermore, you gain the trust of your employees and customers with personality, professionalism, and your friendly way of collaborating.

The tasks include in detail:

• Production planning and control, including scheduling of external
resources and freelancers, material procurement, and resource management
• Planning, implementation, and optimization of production processes to increase
efficiency and quality while complying with all quality and safety standards
• Design, final artwork, print preparation, and DTP implementations of
advertising materials, campaign assets, and catalogs
• Creative collaboration on layouts, adaptations, and visual implementations
for print and digital media
• Creation, review, and approval of print data, lithographs, and print orders,
directly with suppliers or via partners
• Image editing, retouching, and optimization for different media channels and
output systems
• Ensuring efficient production processes through structured workflow
management, ongoing process analysis and automation
• Participation in the development and implementation of AI-supported tools and
workflows to increase efficiency in design, image editing, and production
• Project management support and internal production coordination of the Knecht Reisen catalogs
• Creation and coordination of timings in collaboration with
project management

At least 5 years of professional experience in the printing and/or advertising industry, solid education and training as well as certificates and diplomas are just as important as character, charm, and reliability.
