The company PQM Consulting AG based in Pfäffikon SZ is a renowned IT company specializing in quality assurance and quality management. The company offers its customers professional support in optimizing their quality requirements and divides its core competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, and process management.We are looking for an experienced test automation engineer for a long-term assignment directly with our customer in the Zurich area. The employment is internal at PQM Consulting AG, start date by arrangement.
Main tasks:
- Creation of test specifications, implementation and execution of corresponding module, integration, functional, and system tests
- Planning of integration and acceptance tests
- Coordination of end-to-end tests
- Defect management
- Development and implementation of automated software and system tests
- Expansion of our test automation for the continuous integration workflow
- Documentation and reporting of test results in Jira / Xray
- Close collaboration with business and technical analysts
- Active participation in agile teams (Scrum) as well as professional support of other software testers
- Continuous optimization of test cases and processes regarding quality and efficiency
Requirements (content, methodology, technology):
Mandatory:
- Degree in computer science and several years of experience as a test automation engineer or developer, ideally in the banking and/or credit card environment.
- Technology:
C# level expert .NET 5.0+ (not .NET Framework) - Git / Jenkins / SoapUI
- SQL database knowledge (Oracle, DB2)
- Solid German language skills (level B2)
- Experience with other test automation frameworks/libraries such as Tosca, Selenium, or Playwright
- Experience with architecture in distributed systems and middleware
- German: Good knowledge
- English: Good knowledge
