- Performing professional teeth cleanings, deep scalings, and root planings as part of periodontal therapy, if necessary under terminal local anesthesia
- Creating treatment plans after consultation with the dentist and patients
- Clinical and radiological examination focusing on plaque and tartar accumulation, changes in the mucous membrane and dental hard tissue, carious lesions, degree of inflammation of the gums, and bone pockets
- Education and advice on the significance of the causes of dental disease and periodontitis
