To complete the nursing team of the Regional Hospital of Locarno La Carità, we are looking for a:

Specialized Nurse in Emergency Care for the Emergency Department (80 - 100%)

Profile:

The person we are looking for works in compliance with current rules and directives, performing the nursing profession with responsibility and competence. They ensure the care and treatment of emergency patients in a professional context characterized by emergency and/or urgency, marked by unpredictable evolution and variable complexity. They adapt their work, planning, and effectiveness of care to the clinical situation and, at the same time, establish a trusting relationship with all members of the interdisciplinary team and the hospital, maintaining a kind, empathetic, and respectful relationship with patients/families. They are able to handle significant workloads and manage difficult moments by setting priorities and making timely decisions. They are capable of acting autonomously based on their skills, organizing their time efficiently, focusing efforts on the most urgent activities.

The ideal candidate is sensitive to interpersonal dynamics, able to gain the trust of their interlocutors as well as maintain the necessary confidentiality. Technically skilled, they are comfortable with new technologies and innovations in general.

Required qualifications:

• Diploma as a specialized nurse in emergency care certified by SPD SSS;
• In addition to the Italian language, knowledge of another national language and English will be considered a plus;
• Proficiency in main computer tools.
