Job Summary
The Quality Technician II at Jabil Switzerland Manufacturing GmbH plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products and processes through inspection, testing, and documentation, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities

Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of products and materials according to established procedures, blueprints, and specifications.

Conduct various quality tests using a range of measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators).

Identify and document non-conformances, defects, and deviations, initiating corrective action requests as needed.

Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection reports, and documentation in accordance with quality management system requirements.

Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems and improve processes.

Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality procedures.

Provide training and guidance to less experienced quality technicians as required.
Job Qualifications
-
Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications (GD&T knowledge is a plus).

Demonstrated ability to use various inspection and measurement tools accurately.

Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and quality control methodologies.

* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Good written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a strong advantage).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
