Main tasks
- Planning, coordination, execution of on-site inspections at D-SIBs / medium-sized banks and small banks in various audit areas (anti-money laundering, suitability, cross-border, market integrity, operational risks, cyber, liquidity, interest rate, credit, market risks, etc.)
- Communication of the results of on-site inspections to the management of the supervised institutions
- Close cooperation with other organizational units of FINMA as well as relevant cross-functional departments and specialists
- Ensuring documentation of results; oral and written reporting
- In-depth clarification of supervisory relevant regulatory violations and related problems of the supervised institutions; development of solution proposals and measures on an organizational, personnel, operational or financial basis
- Coordination with other FINMA functions, such as regular supervision, licensing, enforcement as well as recovery and resolution
Profile
- University degree in economics or law, ideally further training as a certified public accountant or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- At least 5 years of professional experience at audit firms or in internal audit
- Experience in project management and analysis, as well as very good organizational/coordination skills
- High judgment ability and very good oral and written communication skills with a convincing presence at all hierarchical levels
- Very good oral and written German (C2) and good English skills (C1), other official languages are an advantage
