The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural, and associative field actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social exclusion.
The Ludobus are mobile toy libraries that animate public spaces during the warm season. FASe, in connection with the Childhood Service of the City of Geneva, is looking for 6 game librarians at about 40% on a 5-month fixed-term contract for this service.
Job Description
- Design, carry out and propose an animation activity focused on play
- Set up and put away the play equipment daily
- Ensure supervision of the various activities offered, in free access
- Participate in the maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.
Qualifications
- A vocational training in the social field at CFC level or equivalent training; FFETL training in leisure supervision and ideally training in the field of play
- Good contact with all generations, a taste for play and the desire to develop it in others
- Experience in the social and/or associative field. Experience as a game librarian would be an asset
- A sense of social and human relations, a taste for working with multiple partners
- A taste for working outdoors
- Ability to integrate into a small team
- Manual skills and good physical condition to carry and set up play equipment
- Availability, afternoons until 7:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and some Saturdays
- Valid category B driving license, with good driving experience.
