The parishes of St. Anton and St. Michael on the southern edge of the city of Lucerne include popular family-friendly residential areas. The Children and Youth Choir St. Anton - St. Michael, with its approximately 100 committed children and young people, with a special spirit and team spirit, is a distinctive choir in the city of Lucerne. It is supported by the innovative parish team, which is open to new, even unconventional musical projects. The long-standing position holder is retiring. We are looking for his successor from 1.7.2026 or by arrangement: Leader: Children and Youth Choir (35% workload) Your tasks • You lead the Children and Youth Choir St. Anton – St. Michael. • You are open to new things and continue proven activities with commitment such as choir concerts, choir camps, co-designing services, Christmas family service, and excursions. • You organize camps and events and participate in them. • You contribute to the parish team as well as the city-wide music department. We expect • You have a completed music degree as a choir conductor (Master), additional church music training, and professional experience as a choir conductor, or you have completed equivalent training and gained experience. • You are accustomed to and open to working participatively with children and young people. • You have a flair for working with amateurs and professional musicians. • Teamwork, an independent and reliable way of working are a matter of course for you. • You are familiar with the Catholic liturgy and open to diversity and new things.
