About the job
Our new building, inaugurated in 2017, is located in the south of Riehen and significantly shapes the ever-growing neighborhood between Landauer, Hörnli, and Rauracher Center with its impressive architecture.
The old Humanitas was built in the 60s, has been a contract home of the Canton Basel-Stadt since the 90s, and was located for 50 years on Inzlingerstrasse in Riehen before new construction was possible in the south. In 111 rooms, we offer people in old age with support needs in 12 care levels a "home". For around 150 employees, we are a solid, secure employer in Riehen with modern conditions and clear, fair structures.

Your main tasks
- Independent, adapted, and safe execution of the planned care and support of our residents
- Confidence in managing emergency and crisis situations with your team
- Electronic nursing documentation in Lobos, complete and accurate documentation as well as reporting observations during shift handover
- Taking responsibility and personal development
- Independent execution of treatment nursing activities
- Passion for observing and evaluating care and support situations at night
- Cross-departmental collaboration
- Taking over the holistic care and support of the residents entrusted to us in accordance with our nursing care concept
- Assuming and being responsible for assigned professional tasks
- Partial shifts: 07:00-11:15 and 17:00-21:30.
Your profile
- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ FAGE, Health and Social Assistant AGS, or an equivalent recognized qualification
- Experience and knowledge in long-term care are an advantage
- Enjoyment in caring for and supporting elderly people
- RAI LTCF knowledge desired or willingness to attend corresponding courses
- Appreciative and empathetic basic attitude
- Willingness and flexibility to support and actively shape change processes
- High social and personal competence as well as a structured way of working
- Good oral and written German skills
