Repairs, painting, fire protection, occupational safety – as a technical all-rounder, you ensure smooth operations behind the scenes!

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Facility Technician (m/f/d) 60-100%.

Your mission:

• Co-responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure as well as for safety in the operation
• Inspection, maintenance, and repairs of technical equipment, elevators, and facilities in the public and non-public hotel areas according to specifications
• Communication, coordination, and collaboration with external companies, especially the verification of maintenance work
• Partial participation in the setup and dismantling of event furniture in our event rooms
• Conducting safety rounds and operating the fire alarm system
• Taking on on-call and weekend duties
• Ensuring smooth internal communication regarding technical matters
• Cross-departmental insights into new areas of activity through collaboration in our multicultural teams
• You report directly to the Head of Technology

What makes you stand out:

• Completed technical training EFZ with initial professional experience, authorization for general electrical installations (NIV15) is an advantage but not a must
• Further training in safety (occupational safety, health protection, fire protection) desirable
• Strong quality and responsibility awareness, "hands-on" attitude
• Good manners, politeness, and a neat appearance are a matter of course for you
• Reliability, flexibility (deployments also on weekends), and high physical resilience characterize you
• Independent, motivated, service-oriented, and team-capable working style
• You have good German skills and can communicate in English
• Basic IT skills
• Experience with building automation and common programs is an advantage
• Ideally, you live in the Basel area
