The Public Prosecutor's Office See / Oberland in Uster conducts criminal investigations against adults in the districts of Hinwil, Meilen, Pfäffikon, and Uster.
From April 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for your support to complement our team as a Procedural Assistant to the Department Head (80% - 100%).
Job Description
As an assistant to an investigating public prosecutor / department head and deputy chief public prosecutor, you take on all secretarial and administrative tasks and support the prosecutor in case processing. You independently manage the secretariat. You are responsible for organizing and recording interrogations and the administrative preparation of resolutions and maintain contact with authorities, parties, and third parties. You periodically perform on-call duties on weekends (about two to four times a year). The role requires independence and strong teamwork skills.
As the department head's secretary and secretary to the deputy chief public prosecutor, you also serve as a point of contact for various organizational matters of the department and act as a deputy for the management assistant during their absence.
Requirements
You have completed commercial training. Your high typing skills and flawless, confident German are a matter of course. In addition, you have good IT user skills. Experience in a public prosecutor's office secretariat is an advantage.
You work independently, reliably, and flexibly. Integrity and discretion are self-evident to you, and you are interested in criminal prosecution. You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, resilience, and a pronounced organizational flair. You always find the right tone when dealing with parties involved in the proceedings and interface partners.
