Maintenance Foreman/-woman Road Maintenance, Deputy Operations Manager

Each year we manage several construction sites in Maintenance District 4 and are responsible for the operation and maintenance of state roads, bike and pedestrian paths, and hiking trails. For Maintenance District 4, Werkhof Affoltern am Albis, with its 20 employees, we are looking for you as deputy operations manager.

Your tasks

• Leadership with heart and mind: Leading the team in the workshop and actively promoting collaboration
• Organizational talent required: Planning and organizing the annual and weekly maintenance program as well as responsibility for the work preparation of daily deployments
• Action instead of talk: Mainly administrative work AVOR, inspections, application processing, etc.
• Safety first: Ensuring occupational safety as well as operational management during incident service

Your profile

• Solid foundation: Completed training as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ, road builder/-in, landscape gardener/-in, or mason/-in with completed further training as a maintenance foreman/-woman
• Enjoyment of administrative, digital work
• Driver's license category C/CE (or willingness to obtain category C/CE) to perform duties in the winter service on call
• Flexibility: Willingness for night and weekend work as well as on-call duty
• Physical fitness: You like to get involved and are resilient
• Proximity to the place of deployment: Maximum 30 minutes travel time to Werkhof Affoltern am Albis
