We are looking for a Client Relationship Officer (CRO) to join the Market - French-speaking Switzerland team of our Business Development department.
Your mission will be to manage all operational aspects of daily banking activities and ensure operational excellence of front units, to guarantee a first-class client experience.
Your role
You will be responsible for:
- Being the main point of contact for all operational requests from managers and clients.
- Facilitating each step of the account opening process while paying attention to local regulatory requirements and their impact on documentation requirements.
- Ensuring rigorous follow-up of documentation (pending items, documents requested by the middle office, lists of points to be addressed issued by the Risk & Compliance department) and, in this context, contacting internal clients.
- Managing the document flow (archiving, processing physical and electronic forms).
- Contributing to the collection of internal client knowledge/KYC information required and keeping related documents up to date in the relevant systems.
- Processing requests (internal client codifications, credit cards, credit limits, special conditions, etc.) entered in the corresponding workflows and ensuring that important documents (memos, orders, instructions, etc.) are properly recorded in the relevant systems.
- Working closely with the Business Risk Manager of the relevant market area for all risk management and compliance issues.
- Handling payment and transfer operations, ensuring that verification calls (call-backs) are systematically made, and providing support for other types of transactions as needed.
- Being well acquainted with key internal partners (central file, middle office teams, Risk & Control function, etc.), establishing close relationships with them, and acting as their main contact within the team concerned.
- Ensuring telephone calls are answered within the team and providing support for administrative tasks as needed.

Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma.
- 5 years of experience in banking operations and in managing relationships with private clients and supporting managers.
- Very good knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements (cross-border activities, risk management and compliance, PEP, high-risk relationships, FATCA, OECD common reporting standard, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and mastery of presentation techniques.
- Developed sense of responsibility, stress resistance, and ability to multitask.
- Customer service orientation.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Strong team spirit.
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
- Another language is a plus.
- Residence in Switzerland required, or willingness to relocate.
