The Thun hospital covers the entire spectrum of spine surgery (trauma, degenerative diseases as well as tumor surgery). The scope of duties includes both the surgical care of patients (if necessary with support from the senior physicians) and covering the consultation hours and on-call duties. Completed training as a spine surgeon is not a prerequisite. Participation in spine courses and further training is supported.

• Specialist title in orthopedics or neurosurgery (or close to completing training)
• Professional and social skills for good interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• Open communication style
• Confident use of the German language (spoken and written)
