Receptionist at the ENT Polyclinic
The Otorhinolaryngology Service is looking for a receptionist at a 60% activity rate for its polyclinic. The starting date is scheduled for March 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Cervico-Facial Surgery Service of the Department of Surgery (DC) provides highly specialized care for infections of the entire ENT sphere. Our adult and pediatric patients can be treated on an outpatient basis and through hospitalization.
Our general ENT consultation is open to any patient wishing to seek the opinion of one of our specialists on a possible pathology affecting a part of the ENT area (ear, nose, throat, and airways), sleep apnea.
Mission
- You ensure the reception of patients and their relatives as well as visitors and collaborators, respecting the principles and directives of CHUV
- You handle the administrative management of outpatients, in accordance with the procedures and directives defined by the Patient Administrative Management Service (GAP)
- You ensure communication between the different desk stakeholders as well as with other services of the institution.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You have specific training in reception, a real asset
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a reception role, ideally in a hospital environment
- You master office IT tools, CHUV tools are an asset
- You have proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- You have knowledge of a foreign language (English, German, Italian), an asset
- You have a strong team spirit and a service-oriented mindset
- You have adaptability, open-mindedness, flexibility, and stress resistance
- You have a sense of responsibility, great precision, reliability, and discretion.
