The UCI World Cycling Centre (CMC) in Aigle is an outstanding multi-sport facility. It is used by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a training centre and features a 200m Velodrome, a BMX Racing Track, a Pumptrack and a BMX Freestyle Park. Inaugurated in 2002, it welcomes a large number of athletes from around the world who devote all their energy to their sports career. The UCI WCC trains and develops about 100 athletes a year in four Olympic disciplines (Road, Track, MTB and BMX).

Mission :
An internship at the UCI WCC is an ideal way to gain professional experience in the sports industry. Upon starting, the intern will participate in the daily administration of the Education Department by providing support to the existing team.
Key Responsabilities :
- Management of multiple databases related to mechanics and coaches
- Monitoring of the grants provided to National Federations for development projects
- Contribute to the creation and editing of coach education course content
- Support the Education Manager and the mechanics Instructor in fostering collaboration between departments
- Redesign and reformatting of mechanical engineering course materials with the assistance of the course lecturer
- Assistance with lesson preparation and welcoming participants.
- Updating manuals on the E-Learning platform
- Issuing certificates for courses conducted worldwide
- Assisting in the management of the Education department's email inbox.
Profil :
- Recent or soon-to-be completed higher education, with a desire to gain initial experience in the sports world
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with the Moodle platform (a plus)
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, motivated
- Able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in sports, with a particular interest in cycling being a plus.
Start date : immediately or date to be agreed
Length : Duration to be agreed but minimum 9 months
