The department offers high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and mobile psychiatric care to adult patients residing in the canton of Geneva as part of a public health mission. The care provided includes biological, psychotherapeutic, and social diagnosis and treatment.
The psychiatric specialties service ensures diagnosis and takes care of adult patients for the following issues: difficulties within the couple and family, autism spectrum and intellectual development disorders, sexology, mood disorders, and emotional regulation disorders.
Job Description
You manage the medical and administrative secretariat of an outpatient unit located on the Belle-Idée site with possibilities of travel within the different sectors of the Department of Psychiatry in the canton of Geneva.
You write routine correspondence and perform other secretarial tasks specific to the Services and may be required to take minutes of the Service's operational meetings.
You manage various insurance reports in coordination with the responsible physician (deadline management), as well as the stock of materials and administrative forms in compliance with the institutional rules in force.
You handle telephone reception as well as patient reception by verifying their administrative data, while ensuring compliance with institutional and medico-legal requirements in force.
You take care of opening, compiling, updating, filing, and archiving the patient medical record according to institutional standards.
You also perform billing control for therapists.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification in the field of medical secretariat.
You have successful experience managing a medical secretariat.
You have good computer skills (ECDL basic level on Word, Excel) as well as institutional software in use at HUG, such as DPI, DPA, OPALE, and GRECO.
You have perfect command of the French language; knowledge of English is an asset.
Punctual and flexible, reliable and autonomous, you have a sense of organization and priorities and demonstrate very good stress resistance. Empathetic, you enjoy human contact.
Working with rigor, flexibility, and speed, you are comfortable managing a heavy workload while keeping various demands and requests under control.
You have ease working with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate good team spirit.
You are motivated to acquire new knowledge and to invest yourself in the role.
