Assistant Physician M/F in Geriatrics and Rehabilitation at 80%-100%
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The Geriatrics and Rehabilitation department currently has 139 beds, including one-third geriatrics A, distributed across the Monthey site (75 beds) and the Providence in Vevey (64 beds). It ensures the care of patients aged 65 and over presenting geriatric syndromes.
The main responsibilities of this position are
- Provide specialized care in geriatrics and rehabilitation
- Supervise the care of hospitalized patients at the Monthey clinic
- Collaborate interdisciplinarily with HRC specialists and the department's interprofessional team
- Manage the medical staff of the department and participate in postgraduate and continuing education of doctors, nurses, and therapists
We require
- To hold a Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent title recognized in Switzerland
- A specialist title in general medicine ISFM or a foreign title recognized in Switzerland
- Advanced training in geriatrics ISFM
- A minimum French language level of C1 for non-French speakers
- Experience in a rehabilitation department (strongly desired)
