GENERAL MANAGER (M/F)
"Unite teams around structuring projects and innovations serving residents and their community."
What if you turned your experience into a true social project by leading two EMS institutions that carry values and are future-oriented?
At the head of the EMS of Meyrin, including the Pierre de la Fée Residence (76 residents) and the Jura Residence (50 residents), you are responsible for the quality of services, caring management, and the reputation of the establishments. You place people at the center of everything, inspire trust and motivation among teams, stimulate innovation and the evolution of practices.

YOUR MISSION IN 6 AREAS
1) Leadership & Governance
- Ensure excellence and continuous improvement of services to residents.
- Represent the EMS professionally and loyally to families, authorities, and partners.
- Lead strategy and structuring projects in connection with the Committee.
2) Residents, Families & Relatives
- Maintain comprehensive, personalized, and ethical care, in accordance with the reception contract and sector standards.
- Ensure clear information and smooth administrative follow-up with external services.
- Integrate relatives into the residential journey and care for residents' reception and daily life.
3) Management & HR Culture
- Deploy an HR policy adapted to labor market changes, promoting psychological safety and skills development.
- Supervise managers, manage career paths, and unite around shared objectives.
- Ensure regular and transparent internal communication.
4) Financial Management, Compliance & Security
- Develop and monitor the budget, ensure rigorous economic management, and propose optimizations.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance, security, and internal control.
- Manage insurance relations and oversee proper logistical administration of the establishments.
5) Quality of Care, Support & Hospitality Service
- Foster synergies between attending physicians, care teams, and evolving practices.
- Favor a transversal organization centered on the resident, combining health, social, and catering services.
6) Communication & Outreach
- Ensure engaging institutional communication and produce activity and performance reports.
- Develop the network and partnerships, ensuring the good reputation of the EMS of Meyrin.
Profile sought
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for an ambitious personality for our institutions, inspiring and trustworthy, combining experience and expertise in team leadership and achievements in the health and elderly care sector. Both a strategist and gifted in social relations, you naturally embody the demands of a Director of two EMS. You particularly have:
- Higher education (university or equivalent) in management/direction of social and health institutions, complemented by confirmed experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and/or a MAS in Strategic Management of Health Organizations (or equivalent).
- A strong sensitivity to medico-social and hospitality professions and their evolution, with the will to embody a respectful, ethical, and person-centered approach to elderly care.
- Solid strategic and operational skills: rigorous financial and administrative management, ability to negotiate with the State and external partners, aptitude to lead ambitious and differentiating institutional projects.
- A real ability to design and deploy innovative projects serving residents and their families, promoting experimentation and the development of new approaches.
- A clear and transparent communication talent, able to dialogue with governance, collaborators, residents, and their families, and to represent the institution's voice with integrity.
- A long-term vision, materialized by the ability to develop a 5-year strategy and carry a strong institutional project.
