Are you interested in the history of the Canton of Zurich? The Department of Archaeology and Monument Preservation at the Office for Spatial Development protects and documents cultural assets from all eras and is committed to ensuring that the Canton of Zurich can preserve its archaeological and architectural heritage and pass it on to future generations.
Your tasks
- Management of the Inventory and Documentation division with around 15 employees as well as responsibility for smooth operational processes
- Active participation in the management team and co-responsibility for the strategic development of the department
- Comprehensive project management – from initiation through planning and implementation to successful completion
- Further development and optimization of administrative processes as well as introduction of efficient new procedures
- Professional support in overarching topics, especially in the development of databases and coordination with municipal and federal partners
Your profile
- Completed university degree (at least M.A.) in history, architecture, art history or digital humanities, ideally supplemented by a postgraduate diploma in monument preservation or a comparable qualification
- Exceptionally high professional and digital competence as well as extensive leadership experience in complex work environments
- Several years of experience in cultural-historical fields and proven strengths in team development and leadership
- Resilient, socially competent personality with confident, convincing demeanor
- Sound knowledge of legal instruments, secure conduct of interest assessments and balancing, as well as responsible handling of political, social, personnel and financial framework conditions
