Your Tasks
- Contribution to ensuring the operation and high availability of IT services with a modern and efficient IT infrastructure
- Strengthening our network team in the support and further development of the extensive data center and network infrastructure
- Architecture, development, and implementation of new solutions as well as operation in the areas of LAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, and data center
- Support of existing network services in 2nd and 3rd level
- Co-responsibility for the maintenance and monitoring of the network infrastructure of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the affiliated educational institutions
Your Profile
- University of Applied Sciences or College degree in computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent education
- Several years of professional experience in a large company in the areas of LAN, WLAN, and data center
- Current know-how in IT infrastructure, IT security, and enterprise networks
- Additional training in the network area (CCNP, CCIE or similar)
- Sound knowledge in the areas of TCP/IP, routing & switching, MPLS, 802.1x, WLAN, identity management, firewalls, and VPN
- IT security know-how and awareness
- Very independent, solution-oriented, and reliable working style
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Customer- and solution-oriented demeanor
