The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. To complete our team of medical secretariats (internal medicine service) at the Regional Hospital of Mendrisio, we are looking for a
Administrative Employee (70%-90%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for will join the secretariat of the Internal Medicine department and will play a key role in administrative and organizational support for the clinical activities of the doctors, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
In close collaboration with the medical team, they will contribute to the smooth running of the department's activities, promoting efficient management of administrative processes related to patient care, communication with attending physicians and other healthcare facilities, as well as coordination of various activities.
The selected person will also be involved in the organizational support of the outpatient clinics of the Head and Deputy Head of Medicine, contributing to the management of the patient's administrative pathway also in the outpatient setting.
We are looking for a person with strong organizational skills, a team-working attitude, flexibility, and initiative. Good skills in using IT tools, the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, and willingness to learn new tasks are also required. Particular importance is given to sensitivity in understanding the needs of internal and external users, sharing our Hospital's commitment to placing the patient at the center of attention.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal certificate of capacity (AFC) as a Commercial Employee.
- Good knowledge of IT tools (Office package).
- Native Italian speaker or with excellent knowledge of the Italian language. Additionally, knowledge of at least one other national language is desirable.
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in a similar position.
- Organizational skills, predisposition to interdisciplinary collaboration with a view to continuous service improvement.
- Initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and positive attitude, enjoyment of working in a team and collaborating across transversal and multidisciplinary levels.
