Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you are responsible for the effective representation of Swissgrid's interests and political positions at the cantonal and national levels. You analyze relevant developments, derive recommendations for action, and implement them effectively. Your tasks include:
- Building and maintaining contacts with representatives from politics, authorities, associations, and other relevant stakeholders at the national and European levels
- Active dialogue with decision-makers and opinion leaders at all levels
- Monitoring and analyzing politically relevant topics and advising internal departments on political and economic matters
- Preparing meetings and briefings
- Creating factsheets, position papers, presentations, and other communication materials on selected political topics as well as accompanying the legislative process

For this exciting position, we are looking for a service-oriented, positive, and resilient personality with a lot of initiative and high personal responsibility. You are sociable, honest, and have the necessary tact. You can demonstrate the following:
- University degree in a relevant field of study
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as strategic thinking combined with the ability to formulate and communicate complex issues appropriately for the target audience
- Excellent knowledge of the political system and political opinion-forming processes in Switzerland
- Many years of experience in political communication at the interface between politics, business, and society. Ideally, you have an existing network with Swiss politicians, authorities, and associations (in the energy sector)
- Very good German and French skills as well as good English skills are required; knowledge of Italian is an advantage

The Public Affairs and Stakeholder Management team is responsible for the effective representation and communication of Swissgrid's interests and positions towards politics, authorities, and associations in Switzerland and at the European level. It also manages the relevant stakeholders in the electricity sector. Furthermore, the team ensures Swissgrid's participation in various national and international committees and manages visitor services.
