Tasks:
- conduct studies concerning intervention strategies in the field of bicycle-pedestrian, public, individual motorized and combined mobility
- conduct feasibility studies and preliminary projects
- manage the preparation, support and monitoring of the implementation of Agglomeration Programs
- independently lead working groups for the development of interregional and cross-border strategies
- support the head of office in the general tasks of the office (drafting messages, responses to parliamentary acts, credit requests, coordination with other services, contacts with municipalities and the Confederation, etc.)
- support the implementation phase of railway infrastructure carried out by transport companies on behalf of the Canton, particularly dealing with financial and procedural aspects (financing agreements, credit requests, contacts with local authorities, etc.)
- participate in multidisciplinary working groups and support projects conducted by the Construction Division
- examine zoning plans and other planning procedures related to mobility issues and verify the consistency of road projects with Agglomeration Programs and higher-level planning
Requirements:
- completed academic studies (bachelor + master) in sciences related to transport and/or spatial planning or in other disciplines with several years of experience in the mobility and/or transport planning sector
- strong interest in mobility and spatial planning
- good organizational, communication and writing skills
- good availability for independent work and teamwork
- good spoken and written knowledge of at least one official language besides Italian
- preferential qualifications include:
- studies in civil engineering
- experience in the mobility planning sector
- experience in managing multidisciplinary projects
Special remarks:
- the position of Scientific Collaborator I (class 10) can only be assigned to candidates holding complete academic degrees: university license, degree, consecutive Bachelor + Master or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and who have at least 15 years of professional experience in the required field
- the position of Scientific Collaborator II (class 9) will be assigned to candidates holding only a Bachelor or a short degree or to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and holding complete academic degrees: university license, degree, consecutive master or university of applied sciences (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
