Your Challenge
- Professional and strategic leadership of the Young Talents unit (commercial and IT training, BEM interns) including planning a needs-based number of training positions
- Overall coordination and central point of contact for Young Talents, practical trainers, parents, authorities, educational institutions, etc.
- Representation of VP Bank in the area of Young Talents at the Liechtenstein Banking Association (Working Group Youth)
- Support and supervision of Young Talents throughout the entire training period (from onboarding to transition to permanent employment) including personnel management tasks such as feedback and performance discussions, preparation of educational reports, etc.
- Ensuring a coherent training program (course of practical assignments) to implement overarching educational goals
- Proactive employer branding (participation in events and fairs, social networking, social media presence, etc.)
- Planning and conducting various events and workshops (taster days, future day, apprentice camp, etc.)
- Recruitment of new young talents
- Annual budgeting and cost responsibility for the Young Talents department
- Collaboration in cross-departmental P&C projects
Your Profile
- Commercial/business training including recognized vocational diploma in the commercial sector
- Solid banking industry knowledge and understanding of the Swiss and Liechtenstein education systems
- Enjoyment in working with young people
- Empathetic and flexible personality with a positive hands-on mentality combined with the ability to act strategically and conceptually
- Strong communication, presentation, and moderation skills as well as confident handling of different stakeholder groups
- Conversation management, mediation, and coaching skills (feedback, performance, conflict, and mediation discussions)
- High sense of responsibility, independence, and competence to make quick and pragmatic decisions
- Fluent in German and English
