We are looking for a Head of Division Information Technology (f/m/d) to lead the digital transformation journey at Endress+Hauser Flow. You’ll shape the future of IT across our global production network and ensure our infrastructure, services, and security are ready for tomorrow’s challenges.

As Head of Division Information Technology (f/m/d), you’ll lead a division of around 60 employees across Service Management, Infrastructure, Applications, Architecture, and Security. You’ll report directly to senior executive leadership (Vice President Finance) and collaborate closely with Industrial Engineering, Group IT, and our global production sites.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Lead a complex IT organization across multiple global entities and cultures, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee global IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery across our manufacturing sites.
- Align IT strategy with business needs across diverse development and production environments.
- Maintain a strong partnership with our global IT provider of the Endress+Hauser Group.
- Strengthen collaboration between IT and OT, working closely with the Industrial Engineering Division.
- Drive digital transformation and harmonize IT/OT landscapes, with a LEAN mindset and focus on cost reduction.
- Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity, governance, and compliance across IT and OT systems.
- Manage a hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premise) and ensure scalability and future-readiness.
- Build resilience and response capabilities for cyber incidents, including crisis management structures.
- Support the development of a state-of-the-art data culture across the organization.
- Advocate for and consult on the successful use of AI technologies and data analytics.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Hold a master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. An additional education in Business Administration or Management Studies—an MBA or similar is highly desirable.
- Bring certifications in ITIL, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Architecture (a plus).
- Have 10–15 years of leadership experience in IT, ideally within manufacturing or industrial technology companies.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in managing large-scale organizations and leading transformation programs.
- Possess deep expertise in industrial IT/OT environments and global production support.
- Have a strong background in IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
- Are skilled in implementing hybrid cloud infrastructures, ITIL frameworks, and digitalization initiatives.
- Have experience in leading IT crisis teams and building cyber incident response capabilities.
- Are well versed in modern data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies and trends.
- Bring extensive experience in international companies with distributed entities and global operations.
- Understand manufacturing processes and business operations, and know how to align digital strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate confidently with executive leadership, CIOs, and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate fluently in English and German.
