Senior Technical Consultant MS Dynamics 365 FO

A central focus of our activities lies in the implementation and optimization of ERP solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Our goal is to support our customers in the sustainable transformation and modernization of their business processes. To strengthen our ERP team, we are looking for you as a Senior Technical Consultant who is strongly committed to the success of our ERP projects and brings experience in the implementation and deployment of D365 FO. 

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You take on the technical responsibility in the implementation of our ERP projects in close cooperation with our project manager, the ELCA consultants, and the customers' IT staff. 
• You conduct technical workshops, analyze the planned interfaces and integration needs as well as non-functional requirements, and advise the customer on the optimal integration of Dynamics 365 FO. You use your experience from previous projects and orient yourself on proven best practices. 
• You create the technical part of the design documents for the implementation of interfaces and customization to D365. You also estimate the corresponding efforts for development activities.
• You document and technically prepare the Dynamics365 FO platform, including LCS or PPAC setup, system configuration, deployment preparation, and cutover support. You further support our customers during testing activities, data migration, and security management.
• You support and accompany customers during go-live, the hypercare phase, and ongoing operations, ensuring a stable and successful use of the solution through targeted support and advice.
• You also support our offshore development team with technical questions.
• You work closely with project management and support them in managing the technical part of the project. In addition, you actively participate in pre-sales activities, defining the architecture and estimating development efforts.

Your profile

• You have more than 10 years of experience in the implementation and development of Dynamics 365 FO as a technical consultant in an IT service or consulting company.
• You have general, good knowledge of the functionalities of D365 FO.
• You master the Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO development tools, including X++ and SQL Server, and can lead and support developers.
• Experience with the Power Platform, AI, and MCP is an advantage.
• You demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• You appear confident, communicate convincingly, and have confident presentation skills.
• You communicate fluently in German and English; French skills are a plus.
