In this central role, you will work closely with the CFO and various stakeholders, bring your expertise into a dynamic environment, and contribute decisively to the sustainable success of HBL with your commitment.
Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the professional, business management, and personnel leadership of the Group's accounting department
- Ensuring and further developing group consolidation and group reporting including group manual, consolidation, accounting, and valuation principles
- Responsible for the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements of Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG and all subsidiaries, including consolidated financial statements
- Responsibility for the group's regulatory reporting
- Monitoring and optimizing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense processes as well as the associated systems
- Preparation of the presentation for the annual report
- Evaluation, implementation, and operation of consolidation software
- Contact point for internal and external audit regarding questions related to the annual financial statements
- Active participation and taking on specialist responsibility in various strategic projects of the bank
- Close cooperation with the CFO and selective participation in management meetings as well as the audit and risk committee
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in accounting within the banking environment
- Higher education or further training (e.g., banking diploma, certified auditor, university degree or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Solid banking and business management know-how, especially in group reporting and accounting
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for numbers
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders
- Openness to change and interest in digital developments in the financial sector
