About the job
Built in 1443 as a salt warehouse, the Palais Keller was opened in 1972 as a Bavarian restaurant in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof by Mr. Falk Volkhardt with the purchase of the Palais Montgelas. In 2019, the Palais Keller was renewed by interior designer and art dealer Axel Vervoordt. In the new Palais Keller, our guests are served seasonal and regional dishes with a modern interpretation.
As part of your duties, you will perform the following tasks, among others:- Carrying out professional service in compliance with quality standards
- Receiving, handling, and forwarding complaints to a supervisor
- Responsibility for proper invoicing and correct billing if authorized
- Preparation of events, especially setting up tables and chairs, laying tables, and performing mise en place
- Ensuring house-specific and legal hygiene regulations (HACCP)
- Successfully completed vocational training as a specialist for restaurants and event catering or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in upscale hospitality desirable
- Openness, professional appearance, and a well-groomed appearance
- Enjoyment in dealing with international guests
- Very good German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
