WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You advise financial institutions (banks, securities firms, FinTechs, insurance companies, collective investment schemes, independent asset managers, among others) on all financial market law issues
- You support BDO auditors specialized in financial institutions in supervisory audits as well as in regulatory matters
- Together with your colleagues, you conduct supervisory audits (especially AML audits) at smaller institutions
- You work interdisciplinarily with specialists from other areas, support them in complying with supervisory requirements, and advise them on supervisory questions, compliance regulations, and other financial market law issues (FIDLEG, FINIG, BankG, FINMAG, AML, Tax Compliance, DSG, AIA, etc.)
- You assist in reviewing license applications for FINMA-licensed companies
- You write publications and give presentations on regulatory topics and developments
- You support the development of new services and enable the further expansion of the Regulatory & Compliance Financial Services organizational unit
HOW YOU SUCCEED
- You have a law degree (Bachelor or Master of Law) and show interest in the financial market and regulatory developments
- Ideally, you already have initial professional experience in a financial institution, supervisory authority, or audit and consulting firm
- Ideally, you bring experience in the AML area
- You are able to quickly identify the essentials even in complex issues and develop pragmatic solutions
- You are open, dynamic, customer- and team-oriented, and act entrepreneurially
- You have very good communication skills in spoken and written German (C1 level is an absolute must) and English (B2); any additional foreign language is an advantage
