As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counseling is responsible for the services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, adolescents, and adults are at the center of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
biz Kloten is a cantonal competence center for career, study, and career counseling. To complement our administration team, we are looking for an employee in administration 80% starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks
Together with your team colleagues, you ensure a professional administration operation and support the entire organization. In this hub function, you welcome our customers, arrange counseling appointments, take over customer administration, minute-taking, and organize events. In addition, as a superuser of the specialized application, you are responsible for flawless data and performance recording. You analyze these as a numbers-oriented person and collect statistical key figures. As a scholarship advisor, you submit applications for training financing to funds and foundations, and as a passionate trainer, you take on the training responsibility for our commercial apprentice.
What you bring
You have completed vocational training as a merchant (EFZ) and have several years of professional experience, very good German language skills in spoken and written form, as well as good English language skills, which facilitate your dealings with foreign-language customers. As a friendly and service-oriented administration professional, you feel comfortable in a dynamic environment with a lot of customer contact, and the switch from front to back office activities suits you. You are characterized by organizational talent, an independent way of working, a healthy sense of humor, and confident handling of collaborative and digital tools.
