Health Regulator for CASU 144
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is looking for 2 health regulators (nurses or paramedics) at an activity rate of 80% to 100%, for a start date from April 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
👉 On the front line of vital emergencies, you play a central role in the rescue chain by coordinating the necessary resources for the rapid and appropriate care of patients.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
144 is the first link in the rescue chain. A true control tower for medical emergencies in the cantons of Vaud and Neuchâtel, the regulators assess the urgency level, direct calls, and deploy the most appropriate rescue resources to ensure efficient patient care.
Mission
- You answer emergency calls to 144, on the front line of critical situations
- You assess the urgency level and analyze the information provided by callers
- You deploy the appropriate rescue resources (ambulances, SMUR, helicopters, doctors, etc.)
- You manage the geographical distribution and availability of the various intervention resources
- You support your teammates in managing complex and urgent situations.
Profile
- You are a nurse with at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in acute care, or a certified paramedic with at least 5 years of field experience
- You are comfortable with a highly computerized workstation
- You have basic knowledge of the geography of the cantons of Vaud and Neuchâtel, an asset
- You master one or more foreign languages, an asset.
