To strengthen our diverse UX team, we are looking for a Senior UX Designer for our Bern location. You actively shape digital solutions from discovery to implementation. In doing so, you combine solid UX methodology with systemic design thinking and contribute to consistent, scalable user experiences across products.
Your tasks
- You conceptualize and design holistic user experiences for complex digital products throughout the entire product development process
- You work closely with product owners and engineering teams in agile setups (Scrum/SAFe) and bring in the user perspective
- You plan and conduct UX activities: user research, interviews, workshops, customer journey mapping, information architecture, and usability testing
- You develop solid UX and interaction design concepts for web and mobile (iOS/Android) based on user and business requirements
- You use and further develop existing design systems, including new components, design tokens, and consistent application across multiple products
- You integrate accessibility requirements (WCAG) and use modern tools including AI-supported approaches for creating UX artifacts, documentation, and concept development
- You actively contribute your experience in reviews, workshops, and the further development of UX practices within the teams

Your profile
- Completed studies (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) with a focus on user experience, interaction design, digital design, computer science, or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally in complex product or enterprise environments
- Solid knowledge in UX methodology, user research, and validation as well as experience in agile setups (Scrum/SAFe)
- Experience in designing web and mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) as well as in building and further developing variable- and token-based design systems
- Solid understanding of design-to-code processes, accessibility, and barrier-free design according to WCAG
- Very good knowledge of Figma (components, libraries, variables) and ideally interest in using AI-supported design processes
- Systemic thinking ability, a structured way of working, and strong communication and moderation skills complete your profile
- Fluent in German (native speaker or C2) and English (B2 or better) spoken and written
