The privately run senior center in the heart of the city of Winterthur offers a living and living space for 150 residents where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Wiesengrund senior center is a recognized and popular facility in the healthcare sector.

Training as a Health Specialist (FaGe) EFZ

As a Health Specialist EFZ, you support people in their daily lives at the Wiesengrund senior residence, for example in personal care, mobilization, food intake, or daily structure. Together with the interdisciplinary team, you ensure holistic care of the residents. 

This is what you will learn with us:

• Resource- and needs-oriented care and support of residents
• Conducting resident activities
• Performing medical-technical tasks
• Administering medication, injections, and tube feeding
• Administrative tasks 

This is what you bring with you

• Completion of secondary school A or B 
• Enjoyment in dealing with elderly people and their relatives 
• Good and quick comprehension skills
• Good oral and written German skills as well as IT knowledge
• Resilience and flexibility
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to work irregular hours
