For our interdisciplinary development team, we are looking for a developer (m/f/d) for the design of mechanical components and assemblies for special machines in the labeling sector at our company location in Rheinbreitbach (near Cologne, Bonn, Siegburg, Sankt Augustin, Hennef, Koblenz) starting immediately.

These are your tasks

• You are responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for special machines in the labeling sector
• You work closely with team members from the departments of electrical engineering, control, software, and project engineering
• You accompany the entire development process from the concept phase through design to commissioning – focusing on cost-conscious and production-oriented solutions
• Your task is the support of components/assemblies/series machines during ongoing production
• You create technical drawings, parts lists, and documentation in the CAD and PDM system
• Supporting commissioning as well as troubleshooting and repair of the machines is also part of your responsibilities
• You contribute to the optimization of existing machines and processes.

We expect from you

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., technician)
• You can demonstrate several years of experience in the design of machines or systems – ideally in special machine construction
• You can confidently use CAD systems (preferably Autodesk Inventor) as well as PDM/PLM systems
• You are familiar with relevant standards, guidelines, and design methods
• You bring practical knowledge of manufacturing technologies and assembly processes
• You have a good understanding of control technology and process flows in automated systems
• You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• An independent but also team-oriented working style rounds off your profile.
